My Infographic Journey

Do you know what the infographic is? 


  Today, I am going to talk about the infographic I created for my assignment. Infographics which include graphics, charts and images. etc. is a kind of visual representation. Infographic aims to make it easier to learn information so It is a great advantage in terms of students. Especially, English language learning students. The use of Infographics in the English Classroom will be a very good step for students, particularly on behalf of advancing vocabulary and grammar. At the same time, It can be the hero of the students who are reluctant to learn vocabulary and grammar through a classic method. I suggest that this visual representation should be used in English Classroom. 

As an English student, I took very pleasure in creating my own infographic

  Initially, I chose a topic for my infographic. My topic was Cyberbullying. Then, I determined an application I would use. It was Canva. I sought many themes for my infographic from Canva. Finally, I managed to adjust a theme that reflects on the virtual world. After completing this, I had some difficulties due to the dimension of the page. Its size was vertical. Let’s face that I have not used the vertical page before. Therefore, It took my time to get used the page layout. During this process, I doubted If the diagrams on the page would fit or not. I was torn both ways because one part of my mind said it would fit while another part of my mind said the opposite. Fortunately, it fitted on the page. To make my infographic more vivid, I borrowed several images and icons from different templates in Canva., For a while, I was so confused and tired due to the different types of icons in templates. After a long time, I was able to discover the most suitable icon for my infographic. 


To sum up, my process was both interesting and challenging. I hope you will create an infographic just like me. If you have any questions about the infographic, please, write it in the comments !
